Equipment

All necessary materials tools and safety equipment are provided and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to at all times.

Each Student will have use of their own wheeling machine and all hand tools and workbench space.

Body bucks are often shared, but this allows students to view each others panels progress and prompts detailed questions and observation to achieve identical perfect fitting panels.

Toilet facilities, tea, coffee and sandwiches are provided throughout the course.

The wheeling machine college has:

  • 10 wheeling machines

  • Shrinker stretchers

  • Swaging machines

  • Folder

  • Sheet metal rolls

  • Mallets & sandbags

  • Panel beating hammers & dollies

  • Sheet metal stakes

  • Oxy-Acetylene welding equipment

  • MIG and TIG welding equipment

  • Body sweeps/chords

  • Body bucks

  • Templates and profile gauges.
